Fazzino Creates Official Poster for 2009 President's Challenge

Image appears on all 2009 materials to promote President's Challenge
Charles Fazzino has been commissioned by the President's
Council on
Physical Fitness and Sports to create an official artwork for the
2009 President's Challenge, a program that encourages all Americans to
make and keep physical activity a part of everyday life. The artwork appears
on the school
materials sent out by the Council to promote the Challenge, including
educator's guides
and posters. All of these materials can be ordered on the President's
Challenge
website at www.presidentschallenge.org.

About the President's Challenge
The President's Challenge is the long-standing physical activity and fitness
program of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
Most well-known for the physical fitness test in schools, the Challenge
offers people of all ages the ability to earn awards simply for
being physically active. Our Presidential Active Lifestyle Award (PALA)
recognizes those who have been physicall active for 30
minutes
(60 minutes for youth) each day, 5 days per week, for a period
of six weeks. The Presidential Champions program is an online-based
physical activity tracker which allowsparticipants of all ages
to earn the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. Anyone can do it,
the goal is simply to Be Active. The President's Challenge is the
only fitness program offering awards signed by the President
of the
United States and is used by over 30,000 schools each year."
