Back to School with the Fazzino Activity Kit for Students

When we were in Williamsport for Fazzinopalooza several weeks ago, Bess Lowry, a teacher in the Lycoming County School District, created a fabulous activity kit for her students based on the art of Charles Fazzino. It’s a wonderful example of how you can use Fazzino…or any artist for that matter…as an educational tool in your classrooms. We thought we’d share some of the worksheets with you.

Never Too Cool for School!

Perhaps they will inspire a lesson plan or stimulate some thinking on the part of your students. Thanks Bess for this fun tool!

A worksheet where the student has to find certain objects inside the picture of the heart

Inspired by Charles Fazzino's 3D tooth artwork, this worksheet asks students to find certain objects inside the picture of the tooth

A worksheet that asks students to find certain objects inside the Charles Fazzino artwork

A fill in the blank worksheet asking students to reflect on their experiences with Charles Fazzino's visit
