When TimesSquare.com Editor Joey Franco asked Charles Fazzino to be the President of the Jury for the first annual logo competition for the world famous website, he wasn’t sure exactly what he was signing on for. “I was honored to be asked to head the Jury,” said Fazzino. “Times Square is the center of the universe. So much of my New York artwork focuses in on this incredible crossroads. TimesSquare.com is THE authority on Times Square. They have their thumbs right on the pulse of the area and people visit their site from all over the world to see what’s going on. I had no idea how many logos would be submitted. It was amazing and I was so impressed by the quality of the talent.”

The contest attracted more than 5,000 entries, making it one of the largest logo competitions in the world. Fazzino and Timessquare.com Publisher and CEO Lorenzo Tartamella recently unveiled the top four finalists and the grand prize winner at a ceremony in Times Square. The winning logo was created by Jovan, a designer from Serbia. The runners up came from Brazil, India, Pakistan, and the UK, making this a truly international competition.
