Unveils Work with Chairman of the Board Bob Harlan at Lambeau Field Press Conference
The Green Bay Packers and internationally renowned, three-dimensional pop artist Charles Fazzino unveiled a special fine art creation on July 24th to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of Lambeau Field. The 3-D art piece presents Lambeau Field in all its game-day splendor, including festive fans tailgating, surrounding portraits of historical moments and icons, as well as landmarks of the Green Bay area.
"We're delighted to present Charles Fazzino's depiction of Lambeau Field," said Packers Chairman Bob Harlan while unveiling the new piece. "It's not often you get to celebrate a 50th anniversary, and the 50th anniversary of Lambeau Field is certainly something special. We wanted to add a unique and fun offering to the celebration and Charles's creation is wonderful. It captures the spirit of game day at Lambeau Field and other special characterstics of this team and the area."
In addition to the signature 3-D creation, which will be featured in the premiere, deluxe, and regular numbered pieces, Fazzino's work has been adapted to a 3-D mini print, posters, helmets, a pin, glasses, and a t-shirt. Additonally, the game program at this season's home opener, September 9th, will feature the artwork on what is sure to become a prized souvenir for people attending the game.
