Pop Artist Charles Fazzino Commissioned by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to Create Official Artwork for the 2005 Allstate 400 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Race.

INDIANAPOLIS, Tuesday, July 25, 2005 – Kaitlyn Christopher, Miss Indiana USA 2005, will join famed 3-D pop artist Charles Fazzino, the Official Artist of the 12th annual Allstate 400 at the Brickyard NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race, at the public unveiling of his Official Artwork for the event, Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials announced July 24th. The unveiling will take place from 5-9 p.m. (local time) Friday, August 5 at Fazzino's opening reception at Editions Limited Gallery, 838 E. 65th Street in Indianapolis. Fazzino’s artwork has been used to create the Official 12th Allstate 400 at the Brickyard Program cover and Official Poster. Fazzino will also sign posters at the track on Saturday, August 6th. The Allstate 400 at the Brickyard is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 7 on the historic 2.5-mile oval at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Fazzino was the Official Artist and created the Official Artwork for the 88th Indianapolis 500 in 2004.

Charles Fazzino's signed Official posters will be exclusively available on NASCAR.COM. beginning on August 3rd. A portion of the proceeds of poster sales at the will benefit Urban Youth Racing School, which is dedicated to giving disadvantaged inner-city youth more opportunity and a chance to enhance their life skills by using motorsports as the magnet and education as the compass.
