For the fifth year in a row, the NFL tapped renowned 3D pop artist Charles Fazzino to create
an image commemorating Super Bowl XXXIX. "I am very grateful to the NFL for giving me this
great opportunity yet again," said Fazzino. "I did a lot of research on Jacksonville before coming
up with a design for this year's piece and I think the outcome is fantastic! I'm already looking forward to next year!"

Fazzino started off Super Bowl week in Jacksonville by co-hosting an art opening at Stellers Gallery with Jack Del Rio, head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and his wife Linda. The show benefited JagNet, a charitable organization made up of Jaguar players' wives and headed by Linda Del Rio. Sales benefited JagNet which, in turn, donated a portion of their proceeds to The Freedom Alliance, an organization founded by Lt. Col. Oliver North, that offers scholarships to the children of military personnel.

Besides appearing at his own art display at the NFL Experience (an interactive football theme park sponsored by the NFL) throughout Super Bowl week, Fazzino was invited to conduct a poster signing at Stein Mart, a high-end department store located in Ponte Vedra, FL. Fazzino spent three hours meeting and greeting customers while signing and dedicating his Super Bowl posters, again to benefit JagNet.

On Wednesday afternoon, Fazzino led an interactive art workshop at The Bolles School in Jacksonville. A group of about 40 children participated in the workshop and helped create a magnificent 3D artwork of Super Bowl XXXIX. The children learned about the 3D process and were involved in every aspect, including the drawing, cutting, gluing, and glittering of the piece.

Fazzino closed out the week with several media appearances throughout Jacksonville and a special appearance on the NFL autograph-signing stage at the NFL Experience.
