Charles Fazzino has become one of the world's premiere events artists, having been commissioned to create official artwork for countless events including the Super Bowl, GRAMMY Awards, Daytime Emmy Awards, Country Music Awards, and more. Giclee Printing Method
The majority of Charles Fazzino's special event limited editions are printed using the fine art giclee process. The word "Giclee" is French meaning "to spray dots on paper." It's a reflection of the inkjet method used by giclee printers to apply ink to paper when reproducing a piece of fine art. It emerged as a fine art process in the late 1990's and in some senses, gives the truest reproduction of an original painting because it eliminates most of the generational deterioriation that happens with other printing processes (Negatives, Screens, Transparencies, Plates, etc.). As with all Fazzino limited edition artwork, the special event giclee prints are hand-cut, glued, assembled and hand-signed and numbered.
