In 2021, Charles Fazzino was commissioned by the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum to create an artwork that preserved the visual history of the terrible events of 9/11 while at the same time, celebrating the resilience of his beloved hometown, its people, and an entire country. Five years later, he has been tasked with the same mission: to create a 25th anniversary commemorative that contributes not only to our collective remembrance of that day and its aftermath but again celebrates the strength and fortitude of a national coming together. Each piece in the edition titled “9/11…A Time of Reflection” includes an exclusive “Never Forget” granite keepsake, carved from the same granite used to build the 9/11 Memorial plaza. Together, the artwork and keepsake serve as enduring tributes to remembrance and our collective promise to never forget.
