Fazzino was commisioned by St. Barnabas Hospital (SBH) to create a unique piece to commemorate and support their efforts to provide essential healthcare to under-served areas in the Bronx, NY.
The artwork was unveiled on September 12th, 2023 at a kickoff reception to promote SBH’s first annual NY Team of Heroes Gala on December 4th. Alongside Charles was NY Giant Dexter Lawrence, Miss New York USA 2023 Rachelle di Stasio, Miss New Jersey USA 2023 Derby Chukwudi, and CEO & President of SBH Health System, David Perlstein, MD. The December 4th Gala is expected to raise over $1 million to support SBH’s initiative. Fazzino’s commemorative artwork will be auctioned off during the event to help reach that goal.
