In 2024, the United Way of Broward County Florida asked Charles Fazzino to create a special 3D artwork to celebrate the 85th Anniversary of the organization. This commemorative artwork titled United Way: 85 Years of Giving, is a vibrant 3D artwork that encapsulates the spirit and history of the organization while highlighting the diverse communities within Broward County.
After being unveiled on November 1, 2024, in Hollywood, Florida, the artwork was permanently wrapped on the side of United Way of Broward County’s building for the whole community to see. In May 2025, a one-of-a-kind version of the artwork was auctioned off during United Way’s 2025 Mayor’s Gala to support their initiatives. After the Gala, that same artwork was exhibited at the NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale.

Even though I grew up in New York, my career really kicked off in South Florida with all the art shows I did there over the years, so it holds a special place in my heart and it’s like a second home. That’s why I wanted to work with United Way on this piece.
