Charles Fazzino partnered with Toys for Tots to create a special limited edition artwork celebrating the magic of giving during the holiday season. Known for bringing joy and energy to his work, Fazzino captured the spirit of the Toys for Tots mission through vibrant color, whimsical detail, and heartfelt storytelling. The piece serves not only as a festive celebration, but also as a tribute to the countless lives touched by this beloved organization.
In December 2022, Charles Fazzino joined President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden at the White House for the First Lady’s Annual Toys for Tots Sorting Event, helping distribute gifts to children alongside military leaders and program partners. The following day, Fazzino attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Pentagon, where his official 75 Years of Toys for Tots artwork was permanently installed. In recognition of his contribution, he was awarded the Department of the Navy’s Superior Public Service Medal—one of the highest civilian honors given by the Navy.
On the evening of June 3rd, Charles Fazzino was a guest of honor at the United States Marine Corps Evening Parade at Marine Barracks, Washington, DC. The parade was preceded by a reception in Crawford Hall hosted by the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation in honor of the program’s 75th Anniversary. The Secretary of the Navy, Carlos DelToro was in attendance to unveil Fazzino’s official anniversary artwork. Lieutenant General David Bellon, Commander Marine Forces Reserve and Retired Lieutenant General James Laster, President and CEO of the Toys for Tots Foundation hosted the evening’s events.
Carlton Gallery celebrated 75 years of Toys for Tots with an unveiling on Madison Ave in New York. The event featured special guests: NY Giants LB Kayvon Thibodeux, Founder of the Jream Foundation, Staff Sergeant Raul Pillco, U.S. Marines Corps, Bruce Beck, NBC 4, and Heather Nunez, Miss NY USA 2022.
