Charles Fazzino joined NBC10 Philadelphia to talk about his 2026 MLB All-Star Game Art Collection, on display at All-Star Village as the Midsummer Classic comes to Philadelphia. Charles has been the official artist for the MLB All-Star Game since 2003. At the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the collection features hand-painted baseballs and hand-painted equipment, from helmets to bats, all in his signature three-dimensional style. Visitors can also find the official poster and program covers, which Charles will be signing during the event.
The centerpiece artwork brings the whole city into the frame: the Philadelphia skyline, the ballpark in the foreground, and the details that make Philly, Philly. As Charles describes it, his work is like a pop-up children’s book, made entirely by hand at his New York studio, hand-painted, cut, glued, glittered, and finished with Swarovski crystals. Look closely and you will always discover something new.
Charles was also honored to be chosen as an official artist for the America 250 celebration and to create the Sail 4th 250 commemorative artwork.
