Team of Heroes Gala Kickoff Event
Charles Fazzino was joined by NY Giants Defensive Star Dexter Lawrence, Miss NY USA 2023 Rachelle di Stasio, Miss NJ USA 2023 Derby Chukwudi, and the CEO & President of SBH Health System David Perlstein at White Olive on Tuesday, September 12th for the unveiling of his official artwork for the 1st annual “NY Team of Heroes” Gala. The Gala is scheduled for December 4th and is expected to raise over $1 million in support of SBH Health, a not-for-profit, safety net hospital in Bronx,NY. Fazzino, through his vibrant and celebratory artwork, has provided the visual definition for an annual event that is anticipated to help thousands. The original painting will also be auctioned off to contribute to the fundraising effort.
Helping Underserved Communities in the Bronx
“I am proud to be involved with SBH Health,” said Fazzino. “I hope my art conveys the idea that SBH is a beacon in the Bronx Community. They are doing such important work and are so genuine in their mission to help those who are less fortunate obtain the healthcare they deserve. I salute them and am glad that I can contribute to their valuable mission.”
Fazzino was joined by a roomful of supporters to kick off SBH’s inaugural fundraising effort. The enthusiasm in the room was palpable as everyone expressed a desire to help the cause. Dexter Lawrence generously donated his time to get the word out, as did several other celebrities and corporate executives. NBC’s award-winning anchor Bruce Beck hosted the festivities. The gala will feature the entire “Team of Heroes” that will include Dexter Lawrence and Deonte Banks of the NY Giants, and Will McDonald, Tyler Conklin, and Michael Clemons of the NY Jets. They will be joined by other famous metro-NY athletes who are expected to join the roster. Charles Fazzino will also sit for a free poster signing for all who attend.
