Charles helped kick off Fox & Friends First’s Freedom Friday series with Carley Shimkus and Todd Piro… and brought a little 3D pop art magic to the set.
Live in the studio, Charles gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how a Fazzino comes to life, building part of his new America250 3D artwork by hand. As an Official Artist for America250, Charles created this limited edition of 250 to celebrate the country’s 250th anniversary. From coast to coast, every state finds its place in the composition, with details that celebrate the people, places, landmarks, and stories that make America so memorable. The piece is bright, optimistic, full of movement, and full of the details collectors love to discover. That’s the fun of a Fazzino… the closer you look, the more there is to see.
Carley and Todd also got a firsthand look at Charles’s signature 3D process: – It starts as an original drawing. – The drawing becomes a handmade print. – Each piece is carefully hand-cut. – Then it’s layered and glued back together to build the 3D effect. – And, of course, the Swarovski crystals are added one by one with tweezers for that unmistakable Fazzino sparkle.
Travel has always inspired Charles’s work, and this collection brings that love of place, color, memory, and storytelling to the whole country.
