Charles Fazzino is proud to have been appointed the Official Artist of Broward 100 by Broward County, Florida. In that capacity, he has created an artwork commemorating the upcoming weekend celebration of the County’s 100th birthday, Duende. Fazzino pulled together all of the creative elements of Duende into one spectacular, vibrant and detailed image. “I’m honored to have been asked by the officials of Broward County to commemorate Duende,” said Charles Fazzino. “There are so many talented artists and creative people involved with this event that I saw it as my responsibility to pay tribute to all of them in my image. I hope I’ve done them justice and that the image reflects the true spirit of the weekend.”
Duende, part of a year-long celebration of the County’s 100th birthday, is a weekend full of bold, innovative art exhibits and powerful performance projects, October 2-4 with events taking place throughout the county. The festival brings Broward residents together using arts, sports and recreation venues, natural attractions and incredible diversity to creatively bridge, bond, celebrate, and build communities.
Fazzino’s artwork will be featured on the commemorative program book cover for Duende’s events as well as give visual definition to the festival on websites, in video, in social media, and on banners hung throughout the area. In addition, the artwork will be reproduced as an official event poster and 3D limited edition art collection.
The 18″ x 24″ Fine Art Poster Prints, signed by Fazzino, will cost $40 and will be available for purchase through the Broward 100 Website.

We’re stoked about all of it!”
