One of the most often asked questions of Mr. Fazzino is “Why do you paint so much Jewish art?” In fact, it all started while he was attending The School of Visual Arts in New York City. He started painting the skyline of the lower east side of Manhattan, focusing in particular on the Jewish Delis in the area he frequented. The religious art images became increasingly popular and through them he began to meet more religious people and to study the Jewish religion. His Jewish art collection is born of both his respect for Judaism and the people who practice it and a growing demand for his religious themes.
