Secretary of the Navy Carlos DelToro reached out to Charles Fazzino to create an official artwork commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Toys for Tots Foundation, a U.S. Marine Corp. initiative known nationwide for bringing Christmas joy to millions of underprivileged children around The United States.
In December 2022, Charles Fazzino joined President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden at the White House for the First Lady’s Annual Toys for Tots Sorting Event, helping distribute gifts to children alongside military leaders and program partners.
Fazzino’s artwork is the centerpiece of a Toys for Tots tribute wall in The Pentagon. It was unveiled by Secretary of the Navy Carlos del Toro who also presented Charles with the prestigious Department of the Navy Superior Public Service Medal.

Lieutenant General David Bellon, Commander Marine Forces Reserve and Retired Lieutenant General James Laster, President and CEO of the Toys for Tots Foundation unveiled Fazzino’s official artwork during a pre-parade reception. Earlier in they day, Fazzino was presented with a US Marine Corps citation along with one of the last surviving WWII Navajo Code Talkers Peter McDonald, Sr.
Carlton Gallery celebrated 75 years of Toys for Tots with an unveiling on Madison Ave in New York. The event featured special guests: NY Giants LB Kayvon Thibodeux, Founder of the Jream Foundation, Staff Sergeant Raul Pillco, U.S. Marines Corps, Bruce Beck, NBC 4, and Heather Nunez, Miss NY USA 2022.
