I was in Fort Lauderdale last week. On Friday, March 25th, I attended the unveiling ceremony for the mural i consulted on with the incredibly talented students at Stranahan High School. What a fantastic group of kids. I was impressed with their enthusiasm and talent. They were proud of what they accomplished and they SHOULD HAVE BEEN. I had not seen the finished product before and I was blown away. They did a fantastic job and the 3D mural will hang there for years to come, a legacy for the kids who worked on it.

I’m so thankful to Nancy Green, Marla Armstrong, Francine Klauber,  Dawn Read, and the Broward Education Foundation for involving me in this project. The Broward County School Board is also to be highly commended for it’s emphasis on keeping the arts as a focal point of their educational goals. There are so many kids out there who thrive through the arts…the learn through the arts…they develop through the arts…and they NEED the arts!

Well done all!
